The mission of the Newport Harbor Academy of Dentistry is to provide continuing dental education for health professionals in an academic and social environment conducive to personal growth and cultural enrichment; to encourage and foster interdisciplinary relationships for the purpose of improving the quality of patient care; and to promote excellence, professionalism, ethical behavior, and leadership in dentistry.

The Academy is composed of a unique group of dedicated individuals from virtually every facet of the profession who have a passion for dentistry and a drive to achieve excellence. We are committed to providing exceptional interdisciplinary continuing education in a collegial, elegant atmosphere that lends itself to exploring superior, state-of-the-art dental treatment and to the cultivation of lasting friendships. Our meetings are devoted to the exchange of clinical and academic information through presentations and the camaraderie of our members.  After more than a half century of perpetual improvement, the Academy has become internationally recognized for its well-executed programs featuring outstanding speakers and its luncheons highlighting extraordinary cuisine and wines—all of which is accomplished through the unparalleled dedication, generosity of time, and untiring efforts of our Advisory Board, each one of whom is invaluable and deeply appreciated.
