Smile Design: Occlusal And EstheticTechniques
This presentation will highlight seven key areas for efficient esthetic diagnosis and treatment that can be formulated into a simple and systematic step-by-step approach to resolve esthetic problems and achieve predictable esthetic results and improved laboratory support. All-ceramic crown techniques will be outlined in terms of system selection, cement and adhesive selection, and bonding sequence, with a focus on occlusal management in order to minimize porcelain fractures and complications.
Course Objectives:

All-ceramic crown techniques will be outlined in terms of system selection, cement and adhesive selection, and bonding sequence, with a focus on occlusal management in order to minimize porcelain fractures and complications.
Course Objectives:
- A step-by-step occlusal strategy for optimum protection and a step-by-step occlusal plan for maximum predictability;
- Identification of occlusal red flags prior to treatment to provide a predictable restorative outcome;
- Optimal clinical techniques to establish a “comfort zone” with all-ceramic crowns and porcelain veneers based on system selection criteria, cement selection, required bonding technique, and esthetic qualities.
- Management of esthetic/restorative complications and failures in porcelain veneers and all-ceramic crowns, gingival management and interdental papillae, and extensive rehabilitations.
