SYNOPSIS:

Skillful communication is the cornerstone of successful dental practice management, and the use of dental photography is the most effective means for enhancing communication in the dental office. This program will simplify fundamental principles of digital photography. 

Learn the five secrets that demystify “complicated” cameras to make dental photography incredibly simple, the four indispensable features to look for when purchasing a camera, and the two heavily-marketed features that you really don’t need. Experience predictable techniques for creating stunning images.  Discover how to use these diagnostic images to identify, describe and clarify the essential principles of beautiful smiles for patients, colleagues and laboratory technicians.  

This presentation will present a practical step-by-step workflow to evaluate a patient’s smile and then design an indispensable treatment “blue print.” Investigate how to implement smile design in gaining treatment acceptance, selecting restorative materials, requesting inter-disciplinary treatment, and delivering predictable results.  Motivate patients, build team synergy, thrive in the digital era, save time, increase profit.  You get the picture.

BIOGRAPHIC SKETCH:

Steve Snow graduated first in his class from UCLA School of Dentistry in 1981.  He is an accredited member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and examiner for the American Board of Cosmetic Dentistry.  He is an associate member of the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry and a member of the Society for Color and Appearance in Dentistry.

Dr. Snow is on the faculty of the UCLA Center for Esthetic Dentistry and the Digital Imaging Institute in Atlanta, Georgia. He is the founder and director of PERFECT Perspectives Advanced Dental Education Seminars. He is a published author and lectures nationally on smile design, cosmetic restorative techniques, dental photography, and digital technology.

Dr. Snow serves without remuneration as a consultant to numerous manufacturers in the development of dental materials, computer software, intraoral photography, and smile imaging.  He is a founding member of the Bio-Medical Image Advisory Group of Adobe Corporation.

His private practice in Danville, California, emphasizes comprehensive cosmetic restorative dentistry.
